The National Civil War Centre has many flexible spaces available for hire. Whether it’s for a royalist knees up, or a puritan discussion, we’re happy to host.
We’re keen to work with you to realise your dream event – the flexibility of our spaces means we are able to suit all tastes. Please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to enquire or to arrange your chance to come and view the options.
The Tudor Hall
This large space is perfect for functions, wedding receptions, conferences, large meetings or training. It is able to work with all modern audio visual needs, and catering can be served from in the Hall or from the adjacent space. Furthermore, it backs onto our wonderful courtyard—perfect for those summer evening events. Maximum capacity is 150-200. The room is also fully accessible and has nearby toilets.
The Community Space
This beautiful blank canvas is the second largest of our spaces, able to hold 25-50 persons. This makes it the perfect space for meetings, parties or training facilities, with self-contained toilets and full accessibility. It also backs onto our courtyard, meaning your meeting or party can spill outside.
The Meeting Room/Research Library
The perfect room to host your lecture or meetings. Hosted in the rafters of the Tudor Hall, this space can hold 25-30 with full projector facilities. Fully accessible.
The Palace Theatre
Since our integration with the beautiful 1920s Palace Theatre, we are able to offer room hire within this facility too, via the same entrance as the National Civil War Centre. This can include hire of the 600-seat auditorium for conferencing, awards ceremonies or presentations, private functions within Nineteen20, our new café-bar facility, or intimate gatherings within the beautiful Byron Room.
